GI RULES (BJJ RULES)
The NAGA rules are available below. We have a downloadble PDF (link is below) and the three videos below (Rules Introduction, No-Gi Rules, Gi Rules). If you have any questions concerning the rules, please contact us via the "Contact NAGA" page on this site and select the subject "Rules Question".
NAGA Head Referee Ryan Cook put a lot of work into giving NAGA competitors a detailed rules document. Most rules related issues are due to a lack of knowledge of the rules. There are many minor intricacies in the rules that the average grappler or fan would not know without consulting this documentation and these videos. Please read/view them to give you a better understanding of the NAGA rules.
The document begins with the No-Gi rules. The Gi rules begin on page 30.
Please note that the rules document above is the most up to date resource for NAGA rules. The videos below are, for the most part, correct. There are slight rules adjustments made every year. The 2014 adjustments are not reflected in these videos. If you have any specific questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is currently an issue with the rules videos. We are working to correct the issue now.
